Terms of service
Last change: 8 October 2026
These terms are for the mailroom service at mailroom.lechat.dev. The admin of this service runs it and invites its users. When you use the service, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
Your account
- You get an account from an invite of the admin. You sign in with passkeys. Keep your passkeys and your MCP tokens safe.
- The admin chooses the mailboxes that you can read and send from, and can delete your account.
Use of the service
- Obey the law. Do not send spam, and do not send mail from an address that you have no right to use.
- Do not try to get around the limits of the service, for example the limit of 10 sent messages each minute.
- The admin can stop an account that does not obey these terms.
Gmail accounts
- Connect only a Gmail account that you own or have the right to use.
- The terms of Google also apply to your Google account.
- You can disconnect a Gmail account at any time in Settings.
No warranty
mailroom is open-source software under the MIT license. The service comes as it is, without a warranty. The admin does not promise that the service is always available or that no mail is lost. Keep a copy of the mail that is important to you. Gmail keeps the original mail of a connected account.
As far as the law allows, the admin is not responsible for damage that comes from the use of the service, for example lost mail or lost data.
End of the service
You can stop to use the service at any time, and ask the admin to delete your account. The admin can stop the service.
